Jobie Hill, a licensed preservation architect, focuses on the architecture of slavery, the influences slave dwellings had on the lives of enslaved inhabitants and their descendants, and the preservation of the history of enslaved people. Ms. Hill seeks to ensure the irreplaceable pieces of history are not lost forever.
